Unclaimed Field, 2018

While intellectualizing my own identity, I recognize the expansive intangible distance between where I am, who I am, and the place that I came from.

The space is dark. The viewer is immersed in the soft soundscapes of an unclaimed field. There is no escaping the isolating climate at the edge of a border overlooking this unclaimed field. The piece is distant, but intimate. A small poetic expression of a question.
